President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular working video conference with participation of the Vice-premier supervising agricultural complex, the hyakims of velayats and Ashgabat.
The agenda of the conferences included course of agricultural campaign, in particular sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest, priority issues of social and economic reforms in the country, preparation to the 25th anniversary of the Independence of Turkmenistan and putting into exploitation of new facilities.
Opening the working conference, the Head of the State video called Hyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazgeldiyev, who reported of fulfilment of the assignments given by the Leader of the Nation for increase of rates and improvement of organization of sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest at the fields of the region. The hyakim also gave report on putting into exploitation of new social and cultural facilities in the velayat.
After, the Leader of the Nation listened to the report of Deputy Chairman of Cabinet of Ministers R. Bazarov on situation on agricultural fields of the country, course of sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest campaign in the velayats.
Speaking of the necessity of permanent control for organized campaign of sowing of winter crops, the Leader of the Nation pointed out low rates of works in Tejen, Serakhs, Kaahka and Ak-Bugday etraps, which are behind the planned schedule and noted that existing agricultural equipment is not being used completely. In this relation, the Head of the State, speaking to the head of regional administration, requested to undertake all necessary measures for increase of rates of the sowing.
After, the Leader of the Nation listened to Hyakim of Balkan velayat D. Durdiyev, who reported on situation at the fields and agro technical activities, in particular held for increase of rates of sowing of winter crops as well as on measures for further development of industrial infrastructure, timely completion of construction of new facilities in the region.
Having stressed the attention at the issues of sowing of crops in the western region, the President of Turkmenistan pointed out its low rates in Serdar and Bereket etraps to the hyakim.
Leader of the Nation Gurbanuly Berdimuhamedov addressed instructions to the head of the region for organization of this responsible agricultural campaign at proper level and demanded to undertake all measures for cardinal increase of rates of the sowing.
Having emphasized the course of construction of facilities, which are built under national transformation programme aimed at complex development of social, living and economic infrastructure of the regions, the Head of the State requested the hyakim to undertake all the necessary for timely entering into operation of all facilities timed to the anniversary and preparation to the celebration of the Independence of the Motherland.
Next, O. Gurbannazarov, the Hyakim of Dashoguz velayat reported on the course of agricultural works expanded at the fields of the northern region – sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest.
Analysing the situation in the velayat, the President of Turkmenistan stated that rates of sowing of crops remains at low level, in particular in Gurbansolta-Eje and Gyorogly etraps, and requested the head of the northern region to increase the rate of field works in these etraps in accordance with agro technical standards.
In his turn, Hyakim of Lebap velayat Ch. Charliyev reported on the situation in agricultural complex and fulfilled work. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov was informed about the measures undertaken for fulfilment of the state order for cotton harvest and timely sowing of winter crops for the next year harvest.
Having listened to the report, the head of Turkmenistan requested to hold under strict control the issues related to deadline of the sowing campaign. Having expressed the discontent with level of agricultural works in Sakar, Sayat and Birat etraps, the Leader of the Nation addressed range of specific instructions to the hyakim for improvement of the situation in the region.
Having mentioned that the cotton is a national treasury, the Head of the State requested the head of the velayat to provide timely pick up of the grown cotton and proper stocking in accordance with planned schedule.
After, the Leader of the Nation listened to the report of Hyakim of Mary velayat B. Annagurbanov, who informed on the course of sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest season, construction works of different facilities as well as on fulfilment of the instructions given by the President of Turkmenistan previously.

Having noted for one more time the importance of organized and accurate seasonal agricultural works, what equally concerns both sowing of winter crops and cotton harvest as well as other current field works, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov requested vice-premier R. Bazarov to find out and eliminate the factors slowing the course of campaigns, to coordinate activities of related structures of agricultural branch and farms of the velayats as well as to provide efficient use of existing equipment and quality fulfilment of all appropriate agro technical activities.
After, Hyakim of Ashgabat R. Abilov reported on the situation in the capital, measures for increase of rates of construction of new facilities as well as fulfilment of the assignments given by the Leader of the Nation earlier. In particular, it was reported on course of work for beautification and provision of cleanness of the main city of the country, on execution of the programme for modernization of park zones as well as on the measures undertaken for improvement of social sphere of the capital.
Having noted that transformations and programmes undertaken in Ashgabat have to be aimed at prosperity and further improvement of social and living conditions of the citizen of the capital, the Leader of the Nation demanded the hyakim to hold under control all activities undertaken in this direction. The Head of the State also paid attention to importance of quality and timely fulfilment of works at facilities of Ashgabat timed to the Anniversary, having highlighted the necessity of keeping exceptional cleanness and order and that the Turkmen capital has to example for the whole country in this.
