During the meeting, the process of work on the construction of road of Atamyrat-Ymamnazar-Akina of railway Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Tajikistan is reported by the Minister Railway Transport B. Annameredov, who also reported on the status of the work of the departments under his supervision.
Having noted the importance of railway transportation in the dynamic growth of the national economy, realization of projects on formation of international combined transport and communications corridors, the President of Turkmenistan drew attention to the issues of the further development of this sector, having addressed to the Minister for a number of relative orders.

Kakayev reported on developments in fuel and energy complex and the ongoing works in the context of the implementation of the energy strategy of Turkmenistan, important areas of which is diversification of export routes for Turkmen energy supplies, as well as enhancing the productive capacity of the processing sector of fuel and energy complex. In this connection, it was reported on the progress of the project of construction of a transnational gas pipeline Turkmenistan-Afghanistan-Pakistan-India, started in December last year.
The Vice Premier also informed that at the final phase of construction of the Terminal for acceptance, storage and shipment of petroleum products with a capacity of 540 thousand tons to the Customs point Ymamnazar in etrap Atamyrat of Lebap region.
Having noted the need to adopt ocoherent measures for the further development of domestic oil and gas industry, enhance the efficiency of its structural subdivisions, the head of the state underlined importance along with the increase in production of hydrocarbons to pay close attention to the task of building a high-tech innovative productions, specializing in the production of finished competitive products, demanded on the world market.

Having focused on the theme of construction of Garlyk ore-dressing and processing complex-strategic object for the national economy, built on the base located in Lebap region the largest deposit of potash salts, leader of the nation stressed that the realization of this project opens a new page in the development of the chemical industry of the country. The richest natural pantry and the construction of the modern industrial complex producing potash fertilizers is of great importance in the context of turning Turkmenistan into industrial power creating wide opportunities for the export of this type of products demanded in the world market.
