The President of Turkmenistan took part in opening events of Bereketli Zaman settlement in Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat.
The settlement was built under National transformation programme for improvement of social and living conditions of the population of settlements, villages, city etrap and etrap centres until 2020. Key directions of the programme are construction of living houses, development of transport infrastructure, public health systems, education, culture, small entrepreneurship, agriculture, realization of investment projects for establishment of new industrial enterprises as motive power of industrial growth of the regions, improvement of innovative potential.
Comprehensive character and integrity are the main features of the Programme. Its provisions and specifications are closely interconnected and all of them are of same importance. Together, they form carcasses of architectural philosophy of the regions.
Establishment of new settlements and villages means not only improvement of social and living condition of people but also creation of new occupancies, improvement of economic and investment mechanisms of development of the regions. This subject is always under strict attention of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhameodv.
In the morning, the Head of the State flew by helicopter to Ak Bugday etrap of Ahal velayat.
After short flight, helicopter of the Leader of the Nation landed at special helipad near new settlement Bereketli Zaman. Intended for 400 farms, it is located at the foothills of the Kopetdag Mountains near Ashgabat – Mary highway.
On occasion of this momentous event, the Chairperson of Mejlis, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, heads of ministries and departments, military and law enforcement agencies, the Hyakim of Ahal velayat, leaders of mass media, representatives of community of the region, numerous new tenants and guest gathered there.
Under storm of applauses of participants, the Leader of the Nation cut symbolic ribbon and opened Bereketli Zaman settlement, where all conditions for comfort life of people are created taking into account national customs of living.
The Head of the State and his team went by bus to new settlement. There was live corridor along the way. Numerous local residents came to welcome the President of Turkmenistan. Brightly decorated yurts with steaming pots beside are set on both sides of the road.
Complex of new snow-white houses with spacious streets and walkways, social, living and engineering infrastructure was built for three years in Ak Bugday etrap, the fertile part of Turkmen land. One-store living apartments, where 140 are three-rooms cottages, 130 are four-rooms and 130 five-room houses, are built there. All facilities are constructed for maximum comfort and cosiness.
The Head of the State looked round the building of settlement admiration and recreation centre. Hearth of cultural life of the settlement was built by “Galaly Gyoz” society. There are an auditorium for 200 spectators and all conditions for the leisure of local residents, conduct of different events and celebrations, arts learning, reading of books and news, development of talents.
Medical centre is another social facility of new settlement. All conditions for rendering of wide spectrum of modern medical services including consultation and diagnostics are established in the polyclinic. Medical and treatment rooms of different purposes are in the health centre. Their technical provision meets all modern standards; medical equipment and apparatus from the leading world manufacturers of medical equipment are installed there.
New public services houses offers broad range of services to the residents of the village. If previously system of services for rural population was on rather primitive level, even sometime people had to go to the city to repair household equipment for instance; now, this issues can be sorted at professional level on site. Different workshops, tailor and repair shops, shoe repair shops are opened in new public services house. In perspective, it can be the basis for future learning of local senior pupils to tailoring and embroidering as well as to start producing national souvenirs.
President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov started looking around new living estate, which is a living picture of fundamental changes of the regions of the Motherland. The Head of the State proceeded toward living houses where colourful folk plays were being performed.
The President of the Country came in large yard of the house where garage, shades, topchans (resting podium) and tamdyr (clay stove) are set. Plot of land adjoining the house allows making vegetable farm or garden.
There were elder women sitting on topchan under the shade, who welcomed the Leader of the Nation. During warm, trustful conversation, they expressed huge gratitude for such beautiful present to all residents of new settlements.
There are stand-alone boiler among facilities of the house, which provides heating and hot water supply of the house.
Conversation of the Head of the State with hosts of the house over cup of tea in spacious dining room turned into living track. Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov expressed his interest in work conditions of farmers, what kind of equipment they use, situation with soare parts and consumables, what they do with final products and profit, how beneficially to do farming.
Having highlighted that the state would continue to take special care for farmers, implementation of advanced technologies to agricultural complex, the Leader of the Nation noted that programme measures for improvement of productivity of crops and growth of wellbeing of the farmers are being undertaken. President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov also said that utmost attention would be continued to be paid to establishment of all conditions for prosperous life of the farmers, full provision with powerful agricultural equipment, mineral fertilizers and water as well as production in full volume of different types of fertility vitamins.
The subject of preparation to all-people celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Independence of the country was raised. The head of the family made special mention that opening of new settlement is big present of the Leader of the Nation to workers of Ahal velayat on this anniversary date.
After, the President of Turkmenistan looked around the house, having noted its good planning and design. It includes spacious entry hall, large sitting and general rooms, two bedrooms with separate cloak rooms and bathrooms, kitchen with dining room, study room as well as auxiliary rooms and storages. Modern good quality materials were used during construction of the house.
Leaving the house, the president of Turkmenistan highlighted that the state would continue to undertake purposeful measures for further modernization and development of social and economic infrastructure of the regions, and having wished the tenants success and family wellbeing, presented them valuable gifts.

That is why, in near term, Turkmenistan does not intend to decrease volumes of social construction. Quite the contrary, grandiose plans are present in this sphere. Thus, new edition of the programme for transformation of the regions for 2015 – 2020 stipulates construction of 500 facilities including 3 million of square meters of living estates and thousands of kilometres of infrastructure networks. More than 7.5 billion of US dollars are planned to be drawn during this period.
Formulating new town planning concept, the Head of the State defined fulfilment of complex assignments for modernization and harmonization of living environment for every citizen of the country as main target of it.
Labour, industrial and technical resources of the government construction and installation organizations were involved in construction of facilities of Bereketli Zaman. Domestic private enterprises also made considerable contribution in realization of large-scale project.
There are shopping centre and market, which was visited by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, among settlement facilities built by members of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs.
Specialized retail outlets and shops present their goods and services there; one can buy everything necessary for house like fresh meat and canned food, fruits and vegetables, soft drinks and juices, tea, cereals and pastries, diary and bakery products. It is remarkable that considerable part of the items is of local origin and they deservingly compete with foreign analogues.

The Head of the State expressed the interest while familiarizing with range of goods, which recently displaced foreign analogues from local market and find external demand owing to programmes for improvement of export and import substitution successfully realized in the country.

Building of new kindergarten for 160 children was constructed by individual enterprise, which together with project planners took maximum efforts to make kids feel happy, interesting and comfortable. There are computer and language classes, art studios, summer terraces and playgrounds, spacious and light bedrooms with soft children furniture, music hall and gym, dining room and medical point.
Having inspected the facilities of the kindergarten, the Head of the State talked to children, expressed his interest in their impression of new settlement, dreams and desires. All conditions for joyful, active and at the same time learning pastime of the kids are established there in order to start study at school with initial knowledge and useful skills including computer ones.

Preschool kids demonstrated work of learning game applications on computers, which aid to learn alphabet, write and pronounce the words. Animated assistants in the image of characters of favourite fairy tales, for example Bovenjik, favour converting of educational process to captivating game.
Having left the entry into the book of Honoured Guests, Leader of the Nation wished personnel of preschool institution great successes in their work and all dreams to be come true to the kids.
Comprehensive secondary school was also built in the village. It is intended for 640 pupils and provided with top modern equipment. The specialist of “Aktab” individual enterprise erected new facility. There are learning cabinets with interactive multimedia boards, language computer classes, special premises for manual training of boys and girls. Library with reading room, assembly hall, canteen, medical cabinet, gym and outdoor sport grounds are at the disposal of pupils and teachers.
There are buildings of gengeshlik (local administration) and fire department among other facilities of Bereketli Zaman settlement. Besides 12 facilities of Ahal velayat hyakimlik’s jurisdiction, there are 10 buildings belonging to ministries and departments. There are bakery, grocery store, telephone station, soft drink factory, ceremonial hall, public services facility among them. There is a mosque as well in the settlement, which was built on charity donations by “Galaly” utility company.
All facilities are provided with advanced equipment from famous world manufacturers. Functioning of social, cultural and living infrastructure considerably assisted to employment of new tenants, mainly to new families for farming associations of Ak Bugday etrap. Besides, it is expected that agricultural productions around the settlement will be developed, compact processing enterprises will be opened in the future, what would provide hundreds of occupancies.
At the end of the visit to this modern settlement, the Leader of Nation prceeded to the territory allocated for park zone. There, he planted young tree, Turkmen juniper, having given start to foundation of future beautiful park. All participants of ceremonial event joined palnting of trees.
