Having announced the agenda, the Head of the State gave floor to Chairperson of Mejlis A. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers, Minister of Foreign Affairs R. Meredov, reporting on activity of the MIA, informed on preparation to the first Global Conference for Sustainable Transport System, which would be held in Ashgabat on Novemeber 26 – 27.
In this relation, the importance of constructive initiatives of President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for development of mutually beneficial regional and international cooperation in this direction, which received wide support and recognition of the world community, was highlighted. This is evidenced by two special Resolutions on transport issues, adopted by the UN General Assembly in 2014 and 2015. Based on it, the Turkmen capital will host above mentioned forum, where as expected high rank delegation from many countries of the world, heads and representatives of numerous international organizations will take part.
As is known, Organization Committee for preparation and conduct of this conference was established by the Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan on March 25 of the current year. In this context, it was reported that cooperation with number of profile structures of the UN including the Department for Economic and Social Affairs (DESA) and others is carried out. Priority issues of preparation for the forum became the subject of detailed discussion during the meetings during visits of the UN delegations to Ashgabat as well as during participation of Turkmenistan delegation in the 71th session of the UN General Assembly in September of the current year.
The agenda of the forum includes complex of questions related to different directions of cooperation in transport and communication sector, its role in achievements of the goals of Sustainable Development. Signing of number of international conventions and agreements as well as final documents is expected during the conference.
At the same time, it was mentioned that during preparation to forthcoming important event, under support of the president of Turkmenistan, special web site, giving opportunity to introduce targets and importance of the Global Conference and to solve organizational issues, was made.
Having highlighted that consolidation and expansion of constructive cooperation in strategic issues of international agenda are main vectors of foreign policy course of our country, Leader of the Nation Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted that nowadays, partnership in transport sector acquires special importance as integral factor of the global sustainable development.

The Vice-premier noted that in this year, 715 people took part in art show of vocalists, which annually held in our country under «Türkmeniň Altyn asyry» competition declared by the President of Turkmenistan. 12 young singers from all regions of the country and Ashgabat became the finalists of the competition. They will perform during gala-concert in the Mukams’ Palace of the State Cultural Centre where results of the contest will be finalized and winner award ceremony will take place.

In this context, Draft Resolution on approval of the Action Plan for provision of full implementation of the rights of disabled persons in work and occupancy for 2017 – 2020, which is aimed at protection of the interests of people with limited capabilities, was presented for review by the President.
Having listened to the report, the Head of the State highlighted that one of the main aspects of social policy is establishment of the conditions for realization of working rights by the citizens with limited capabilities taking to account the level of their workability. In this relation, the proposal on inclusion of trade enterprises, located in Avaza, into the register of entities of national tourist zone and amendment of existing legislation for giving special legal status to them as well as stimulation of financial and economic activity for the account of presented benefits was presented for review to the Head of the State.
It is necessary to analyse the efficiency of measures of the support provided by the state to trade entities and in case of the necessity to stipulate development of the mechanisms aimed at improvement of the attractiveness of trade and entertainment activity in resort zone, - the Head of the State said, having given assignments to the Vice-premier on this account.
Reporting on the course of seasonal agricultural works, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers R. Bazarov mentioned that all necessary measures are undertaken for timely completion of winter crop sowing. As for today, 685 344 hectares of the land are sowed with crops, what makes 90.18 percent of the plan. At the same time, care for planted crops and irrigation are carried out.
It was reported that currently, cotton harvest is undergoing at the fields of the country at high speed. At present, 993 313 tons of raw cotton, making 88.89 percent of the planned harvest, are gathered.
At the same time, rice harvest in Dashoguz and Lebap velayats and beetroot harvest in Balkan and Mary velayats are carried out.
Defining priority targets, which solution is summoned to increase agricultural production volumes in the country, the Head of Turkmenistan addressed the leaders of the agricultural complex with number of specific instructions related to timely completion of sowing of winter crops, which are the foundation of the future harvest.
