The past week brought yet another vivid evidence of Turkmenistan's confident steps along the path of progress and prosperity under the far-sighted leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, whose innovative policy is aimed at ensuring a decent life for the people, accelerated socio-economic development of the Motherland, which rightfully enjoys high international prestige.

At the beginning of the week, the President of Turkmenistan flew around the capital, getting acquainted from the helicopter with the complex work being carried out here, as well as with projects for further improving the social infrastructure of Ashgabat.

The head of state paid special attention to the state of affairs in urban new buildings, the implementation of large-scale reforms aimed at the dynamic socio-economic development of the capital, and the measures taken to improve its environmental condition.

President Serdar Berdimuhamedov toured the modern medical centers located in the south of Ashgabat, subordinated to the Ministry of Health and Medical Industry.

As a result of the successful implementation of large-scale innovative projects, a systematic and thoughtful approach to solving the tasks set in this area, a large specialized complex has been created in this part of the capital, which is a visible evidence that caring for the health of the people, the main wealth of the country, is one of the key priorities of state policy Motherland.

From the helicopter, the head of state got acquainted with the Magtymguly Fragi cultural and park complex, located in one of the picturesque places in the southern part of the city, the large-scale construction work unfolding here, the improvement of the foothills and the originality of the forest zones created in this corner.

The object of attention of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was the modern business center of Ashgabat. Buildings for various purposes erected here in recent years form an organic architectural ensemble with previously built structures, including the Döwletliler köşgi Palace. At present, in accordance with the instructions of the President of Turkmenistan, the reconstruction and radical modernization of the buildings of the unique children's town are continuing at an accelerated pace.

Arkadagly Serdar got acquainted with the construction of the building of the Academy of Civil Service under the President of Turkmenistan, which is being built in the center of the capital, the ongoing work on the construction of the International Health and Rehabilitation Center for 400 places, which will add to the list of healthcare facilities.

The President of the country also examined buildings and structures in the northern part of Ashgabat, where business and social infrastructure is being formed. The shopping complexes built in this area, the Garagum Hotel and other objects form a single architectural ensemble. The construction of a large shopping center continues at a dynamic pace. Here, along with a high level of services offered to residents and guests of the capital, it is also planned to create an entertainment complex for children.

Then, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov got acquainted with the objects of various purposes erected on the territory of the Buzmeyin etrap, including housing, which fully meet the requirements of the time.

In the western part of the capital, comfortable residential complexes have risen, in particular, Gurtly and Kyoshi, where much attention is paid to the construction of related social facilities. From the height of the flight, the scale of the work deployed in this area of the city is clearly visible.

After completing the flight over Ashgabat, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov was presented with sketches of construction projects near the multi-lane automobile bridge at the intersection of Archabil Avenue and N. Andalib Street. These will be new buildings for various purposes, designed to ensure the organic development of the capital's infrastructure.

Vice-premiers Ch. Purchekov and N. Amannepesov reported to the head of state about the features of the projects planned for construction in the territory of Ashgabat.

In particular, reports were given about the existing road bridges in the city, their functional characteristics, the design of tunnels, as well as the measures taken to modernize the profile infrastructure.

Among those presented were the proposed plans for the renovation of the Main Flag Square in the southern part of the city, a number of sketches and schemes for the improvement and expansion of the surrounding area.

Large-scale construction, which is a clear confirmation of the successful implementation of transformational programs in the white marble Turkmen capital, strengthens its status as a modern, dynamically developing city that has concentrated all the conditions for comfortable living.

Having familiarized himself with the projects, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov focused on the need for them to comply with the spirit of the times and the rapid development of Ashgabat. New buildings should form a single architectural ensemble with existing buildings, while ensuring the high quality of work is an important requirement.

The head of state instructed to announce an international tender for the construction of the International Center for Pediatrics and the Dental Center, the construction of which is of great importance for ensuring the high quality of healthcare services.

In addition, the President of Turkmenistan gave instructions regarding the construction of a complex of new modern buildings of the Medical Consultative Center named after S.A. Niyazov and the Educational and Scientific Center for Maternal and Child Health at the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev, as well as the preparation of relevant proposals. It is assumed that these centers will operate on the basis of the State Medical University, they plan to place departments, train students and organize postgraduate advanced training courses for doctors, conduct practical classes, and provide high-quality medical services.

Priority topics of state life were put on the agenda of the meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held by the President of Turkmenistan on August 26, where the implementation of the Presidential Program and programs for the socio-economic development of the country, as well as certain issues of domestic policy aimed at ensuring the prosperous life of the people, were discussed.

A draft Resolution on improving the budget system was submitted for consideration by the President of Turkmenistan, which, in particular, provides for the development of the State budget for a 3-year period, strengthening control over its implementation, modernizing the management of the budget system, as well as preparing in the coming years the relevant regulatory legal acts. In addition, it is proposed to create a special State Commission and approve its composition.

Summing up the report, the head of Turkmenistan noted that the implementation of competent economic regulation largely depends on an effective budget system, the correct construction of which has a huge impact on economic growth.

Information was provided on the course of agricultural campaigns and measures taken to improve the water supply of land. Currently, in all velayats of the country, in accordance with agrotechnical standards, land leveling, water charging and flushing irrigation are being carried out in the fields. Seeds, agricultural machinery and equipment are being prepared for sowing wheat.

The Vice Prime Minister addressed the President of Turkmenistan with a request to give his blessing to the start of sowing winter crops, taking into account the soil and climatic conditions of the regions, as well as holding practical seminars with the participation of experienced farmers, specialists, scientists and machine operators.

Having blessed the beginning of sowing in the velayats on September 2, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov asked the venerable elders to start the sowing campaign, according to the established good tradition.

At the meeting, information was heard on improving the activities of enterprises of the Ministry of Textile Industry, the state of affairs in providing the oil and gas complex with the necessary funds.

They also discussed the steps taken by the State Concern “Türkmenhimiýa” to increase the production capacity of subordinate plants, the comprehensive measures being taken, as defined in the “Program of the President of Turkmenistan for the socio-economic development of the country in 2022-2028”.

Separate orders concerned the steady increase in the production capacities of existing industrial and construction enterprises. The head of state emphasized the need for a complete analysis of the work being carried out in this area and addressed the vice-premier with relevant instructions.

At the meeting of the Government, the tasks related to the preparation for the new 2022-2023 academic year and the celebrations on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the independence of the Fatherland were also considered.

On September 1, the VII Congress of the Magtymguly Youth Organization will be held. In this regard, the Deputy Prime Minister was instructed to carry out all the planned activities at a high organizational level.

The festive program on the occasion of the Independence Day of Turkmenistan, as well as the announcement of 2022 as the Year of the “Era of the people with Arkadag” provides for conferences, round tables, creative meetings, media forums, propaganda and explanatory work and song and music celebrations.

The Mukams Palace of the State Cultural Center will host the final of the “Çalsana, bagşy!” contest, as well as the awarding ceremony of the winners of the “Türkmeniň Altyn asyry” contest for the award of the President of Turkmenistan and a concert of masters of arts.

In the last ten days of the month, an exhibition of economic achievements of the Motherland is planned at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the independence of Turkmenistan.

A set of events will be organized in the context of the month of “Road Safety - the Peace of Our Lives”.

On August 27, the Ashgabat song and music center in the capital hosted the final round of the television competition for amateur young performers “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!”, organized jointly by the Ministry of Culture, the State Committee for Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, the khyakimliks of all velayats and the city of Ashgabat.

Among the participants of the competition are soloists of various creative teams, students of higher and secondary specialized educational institutions, young military personnel, employees of cultural institutions and other industries from all over the country. In total, over 700 young talented performers took part in the creative review “Ýaňlan, Diýarym!” in 2022

Under a storm of applause from the audience, the names of six winners were announced, who were awarded special diplomas and a gold chain on behalf of the President of Turkmenistan, and all participants in the final round were presented with memorable gifts on behalf of the head of state.

On August 27, the Chairman of the Halk Maslakhaty Milli Gengesh of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, on behalf of the President of the country, got acquainted with the state of affairs in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

During a walk along Avaza, Arkadag emphasized the importance of organizing a good rest for the young and older generation. In this regard, great importance should be attached to activities that promote patriotism and love for our beautiful nature among young people. It is necessary to ensure cleanliness and a safe environment in the tourist area.

Noting that opportunities should be created here for people to have a comfortable rest, to spend time interestingly and profitably, it is necessary to expand the range of services offered to the guests of Avaza and improve their quality, Hero-Arkadag gave the hyakim relevant recommendations.

On August 22, in the conference hall of the State Committee of Turkmenistan on Television, Radio Broadcasting and Cinematography, a media forum “International Initiatives of Turkmenistan: New Horizons of Cooperation” was held, dedicated to the results of the International Conference of Ministers of Transport of Landlocked Developing Countries, and events timed to coincide with it.

It was attended by heads and representatives of profile structures, TV and radio channels, the State News Agency, editors of newspapers and magazines, foreign media accredited in Turkmenistan, as well as videoconferencing - journalists from the world's leading news agencies.

The main goal of the event, held in Turkmen, Russian and English, is the role of the media in further strengthening international cooperation. One of the main topics discussed was the significance of new constructive initiatives put forward by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov at the International Conference held with great success on August 15-16 in the Avaza National Tourist Zone.

The media forum has become a good platform for the exchange of experience between specialized structures and building up long-term international cooperation in this area. The study and active application of best practices and modern technologies in domestic journalism are designed to promote the expansion of interaction in the global information space.

Among other events of the week is the publication of the third volume of the new edition of the book “Hatyra” (“Memory”), dedicated to the memory of the heroes of Turkmenistan from the Dashoguz velayat, who heroically fought in the battles for the Motherland in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, who fell on the fields battles, killed from wounds in hospitals, as well as missing.

Our compatriots revere the unparalleled feat of national heroes, which has become a great example of selfless devotion and valiant service to the Motherland, personal responsibility for its fate, for maintaining peace on the planet.

Thus, the past week was filled with many important events, the meaning and essence of which reflect the goals of a new historical era - increasing the economic potential of the country, increasing the well-being of the Turkmen people, strengthening the international authority of the Motherland.
