The Resolution of the Permanent Neutrality of Turkmenistan was adopted during a session of the UN General Assembly on December 12, 1995. Today, we are pursuing the foreign policy based on the mutual respect, equal rights and good neighbourliness and putting forward important initiatives in the name of the universal wellbeing and progress.
Humanity is a national feature of the Turkmen people. Today, humanitarian relations play a crucial role in strengthening peace and friendship in the world”, underlined the President of Turkmenistan.
“Following this noble tradition of our people, which is known for goodheartedness, peacefulness and friendly relations, we provide regular assistance to the social and economic development of the fraternal Islamic Republic of Afghanistan.
The policy of our state prioritizes the development of multifaceted relations with the world Turkmens. The young representatives of the Turkmen diasporas study in the higher educational institutions in our state. We regularly organize artistic festivals and cultural events that contribute to strengthening the ties of friendship and fraternity.
The work of our foreign brothers on strengthening relations in the spheres of science, education, culture, tourism and entrepreneurship, popularizing our rich heritage, traditions and humanitarian policy will contribute to distributing the glory of our sovereign Fatherland all around the world and the further uniting the nation”, said the Turkmen leader in his Address.
