The 11th round of the Turkmenistan football championship started with two matches in Mary and Ashgabat.

In the administrative center of the Mary velayat, "Merv" met with the Balkanabat "Nebitchi". In the first round, the match of these rivals in Balkanabat ended with the victory of "Nebitchi" - 3:2.

In the second leg, Merv took a convincing revenge - 6:2. Alibek Abdurakhmanov (41st, 64th - from the penalty spot, 79th and 88th minutes) scored the winners, and Toyly Gochnazarov (22nd) and Kemal Annamukhamedov (35th) scored once. The losers scored: Arslangylych Nazgylydzhov (44th) and Rovshen Begdzhanov (70th).

Alibek Abdurakhmanov now has 10 goals scored (2 of them from the penalty spot). Kopetdag forward Begench Akmamedov has the same number of assets. The leader in the dispute of scorers with 11 goals is the striker of "Ahal" Didar Durdyev.

After this victory, "Merv" with 22 points moved up to the second line of the standings, ahead of the current champion of Turkmenistan "Altyn Asyr" by 1 point and behind the leader "Ahal" by 6 points. However, "Altyn Asyr" and "Ahal" played a match less.

In another match of the tour at the capital's stadium "Nisa" "Ashgabat" hosted the Mary "Energetik". In the first round match in Mary, Energetik won - 1:0. This time Ashgabat took revenge with the same score. The winning goal in the 7th minute of the game was scored by Hydyrgeldy Atjanov.

This victory allowed "Ashgabat" to bypass "Energetik" (7 points) and gain a foothold with 9 points in sixth place.
