The results of the military parade dedicated to the 25th anniversary of independence of Turkmenistan as well as the other issues of the state policy life were reviewed.
Addressing those present, the leader of Turkmenistan underlined that today we had solemnly celebrated the glorious date, looking out on the made course and the tremendous work done in the country within the quarter-century. The President of Turkmenistan emphasized that we were sincerely proud of that our courageous people had bridged over the difficulties and could build up the modern strong state.
The military parade and the colourful procession of workers in honour of the jubilee date, which were held at the highest organizational level, vividly demonstrated the achievements of the Fatherland during the 25-year period. Speaking about this, the leader of Turkmenistan put particular emphasis on that since the moment of gaining independence, our country had always been a peace-loving country. The neutral legal status, which was confirmed by the United Nations Organization twice, has been laid in the foundation of the State policy of Turkmenistan.
The President of Turkmenistan underlined that the Armed Forces of Turkmenistan, the Air Force of Turkmenistan, the Naval Foces of Turkmenistan were established during the years of independence so that we could defend our Fatherland.
President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces General of the Army Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the documents on awarding the Anniversary Medal to the heads of military and law enforcement agencies, who participated in the military parade and secured its high organizational level, as well as military servants and specialists military and law enforcement agencies.
In this regard, the President of Turkmenistan instructed Secretary of the State Security Council, Minister of Defence Ya. Berdiev to organize the awarding ceremony in the Halk Hakydasy Memorial complex.
