The exposition was expanded at the territory of International Equestrian Complex, which hosted events on occasion of the 25th anniversary of the Independence. The exhibition presented opportunity to the guests of Turkmenistan to appraise the achievements of national economy for the years of sovereign development, familiarize with culture and traditions of the people.
Agricultural sector of mobile exhibition presented different fruits and vegetables, melons and watermelons, cucumbers and tomatoes, apples and pears, pumpkins and onion, the fruits of fertile Turkmen land.
Production of textile industry was represented by thread made of Turkmen cotton, fabric made on their base, clothes including sport one, which became very popular due to the coming V Asian Indoor and Martial Arts Games in Ashgabat. Carpet items were also demonstrated at the exhibition.
The regions of the country presented samples of traditional textile – homespun silk “keteni”, national dress with specific features for different velayats, female cloaks, male karakul fur hats, jewelleries, horse decorations, tableware and ancient tunche-kuyze (kettle) and other.
“Building material industry” section demonstrated different types of cement, production of dynamically developing chemical industry of our country – carbamide, different types of mineral fertilizers and other.
Great attention of the guests of the event was raised by large tanks with live fish. One of them was for young fish and another for grown species – sharptooth catfish. This type of catfish is very suitable for agricultural activity of our entrepreneurs as specialists say, breeding of sharptooth catfish covers all the expenses after two years.
Big variety of goods, different food production, refreshment drinks, juices, canned food products were presented in trade sector of the exhibition.
Production of oil refinery and petroleum chemistry, pipes of different diameter and other devices used for development of oil and gas deposits and construction of pipelines as well as different type of petroleum, diesel fuel and lubricating oils are the exhibits of oil and gas block of the show.
Construction sector demonstrated models of complex of integrated power system around Ashgabat, which is currently under construction by famous American company “General Electric” and «Çalyk Enerji». Models of double-store cottages, designed by students of profile university, were very beautiful.
The stands, dedicated to transport and communication sphere, presented models of Turkmen satellite, most modern equipment from best international manufacturers, which is used by Turkmen specialists in establishing of IP and cable television. Numerous topical publications are exhibited in economic, financial, and banking sector.
The guests were attracted by the displays with medicinal muds of volcanic and other origin, sea salt and salt from the Mollakara Lake, mineral waters, sets of medicinal plants.
Book production, scientific and literature works of the Head of the State, art works, textbooks for schools and universities, lexicographical editions like explanatory dictionary of the Turkmen Language, translation bilingual dictionaries, phrasebooks and other were displayed in exhibition pavilion that reflected development of national culture and tourism sphere.
The exposition also included national jewellery, musical instrument, small sculptures and fine ceramics.
