President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov held regular video conference session with participation of some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, hyakims of the velayats and Ashgabat. Topic issues of the state life, course of agricultural works, situation in the regions under relazation of national and regional development programmes were reviewed during the session.
First, Hyakim of Ahal velayat E. Orazgeliyev was called for report. He informed on the situation on cotton fields and harvest as well as on activity for improvement of social and living conditions of the farmers, realization of the plans developed for expansion of industry infrastructure of the region.
Hyakim of Balkan velayat D. Durdiyev, reporting on the situation in the region, informed about current indicators of the work of farmers and stock-breeders, preparation of agricultural equipment to the next season. The head of regional administration also reported on the course of construction of building and facilities, having made special mention of those, which are planned to be put into operation in the nearest future.
The session was continued by the report of Hyakim of Dashoguz velayat o. Gurbannazarov. He presented operational analysis of production of the main agricultural items in the region including raw cotton, which is continued to be harvested. It was also informed on the measures for development of the crop production, improvement of crop rotation and quality of lands for sowing. Besides, the Hyakim reported on the situation at construction sites of the velayat.
Hyakim of Lebap velayat Ch. Charliyev, reporting on the situation in agricultural sector of the region, informed about the rates of completion of cotton harvest. It was also informed on planned agro technical activities on arable lands of the velayats, solution of programme tasks for improvement of social provision of the population and course of construction of the facilities in the region.
After, Hyakim of Mary velayat B. Annagurbanov reported on the indicators of the harvest, amount of gathered cotton, which exceeded obligations, and remained works at the fields. Information on construction works undergoing in the velayat, steadfast development of social and economic infrastructure of rural territories was also given.
Further, Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers R. Bazarov, B. Ereshov and B. Hojamammedov were called simultaneously.
First, the floor was given to R. Bazarov, who gave general report on the situation in agricultural complex of the country, having informed on the course of preparation of agricultural equipment to new season, settlements of accounts with famers.
After, Vice-premier B. Ereshov reported on the volumes of mineral fertilizers, which are being provided to the farmers in full volume, produced by chemical complex as well as on works undertaken for increase of capacities of this sphere.
In his turn, B. Hojamammedov reported on the measures undertaken for improvement of financial and banking system of the country including on establishment of market relations in agricultural complex of the country, improvement of its facilities and equipment base and support of agricultural producers. The Vice-premier also reported in settlements of accounts with farmers and leaseholders.
The Leader of the Nation highlighted that production of agricultural items, food and material for industry is diversified and complex system, which condition and development depend on the level of competitiveness of national economy, efficiency of its financial institutions, credit and discount system as well as on enterprises producing mineral fertilizers.
Currently, domestic agricultural complex fulfils its main function in full volume – it provides the population of the country with sufficient food. Undertaken measures are aimed at improvement of profitability from agricultural production, expansion of trade of domestic production in internal and foreign markets, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov noted, giving relative assignments to the members of the Government.
In particular. It was said about the methods for stimulation of manufacturers, improvement of technical provision of agricultural complex, social and economic development of rural territories and establishment of conditions for fruitful work of the farmers. The importance of timely settlement of payments with the farmers was also mentioned.
