On October 24, the President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the country Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country, where he observed the course of the joint military field exercises of the Armed Forces and other military branches held at the Naval Training Center located on the territory of the Turkmenbashi etrap.
Getting acquainted with the samples of the military air arsenal presented at the International Airport of Turkmenbashi - fighters and combat helicopters, cargo aircraft, as well as new military aircraft of modern modification, the head of state emphasized the consistency of strengthening the material and technical base of law enforcement agencies. In this context, the importance of systematic advanced training of military personnel, including young soldiers who operate military equipment, and officers was noted.
To conduct joint military field exercises in order to test the combat capability of the National Army and improve the skills of military personnel, the personnel of the Armed Forces of the country and other troops were brought to a state of combat readiness.
With the help of the TürkmenÄlem 520E artificial satellite, the flight trajectory and fire strikes of the drones involved in the exercises, as well as the tactical actions of the troops, were broadcast online on a special monitor.
For the first time, the Bayraktar TB2 unmanned aerial vehicle was used in the exercises, which, with an accurate shot from a height of 5,000 meters and a distance of 8,000 meters, hit a conditional target - a radar station.
The Türkmen edermen special forces units of the military and law enforcement agencies of the country demonstrated their mastery of modern weapons and the accuracy of fulfilling the tasks set in ensuring the military security of Turkmenistan.
In addition, the head of state got acquainted with the capabilities of one of the newest types of anti-aircraft missile system designed to counter group attacks in conditions of strong electronic interference, destroy drones, jet aircraft, helicopters, air-to-ground missiles and cruise missiles, guided aerial bombs.
Air combat tactics over the range were demonstrated by fighters, attack aircraft and helicopters of the Air Force. Aircraft that have recently entered service with the country's armed forces were also involved, the primary task of which is to conduct reconnaissance flights to determine targets.
Reliable protection of the airspace, sea and land borders of Turkmenistan was provided by the Air Defense Forces. On guard of peace and security in the Caspian Sea, the warships of the Naval Forces of the Armed Forces of the country carried out their combat watch flawlessly.
The Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country highly appreciated the high level of organization of joint military field exercises.
On October 25, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held a working meeting via the digital system, which reviewed the state of affairs in the agro-industrial sector.
The head of state stressed the importance of the development of the agro-industrial complex, including the priority tasks of modernizing the industry, conducting seasonal agricultural work at the proper level and in accordance with the requirements of agricultural technology, monitoring the pace of cotton harvesting and sowing wheat.
A number of specific instructions were given regarding the measures being taken to obtain a generous harvest of rice, sugar beets, and to prepare livestock farms for the winter.
Along with this, the need was noted to control the quality and timing of the construction of social and industrial facilities in the velayats, scheduled for commissioning this year.
On October 26, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Georgia to Turkmenistan Konstantin Sabiashvili, who presented his credentials to the head of state.
The President of Turkmenistan and the diplomat discussed the state and prospects of cooperation, which is successfully developing both in bilateral and multilateral formats, in particular, within the framework of the UN.
Among the key segments of interaction was the trade and economic sphere, in realizing the potential of which the joint Intergovernmental Commission plays a significant role.
As noted, the favorable geographical position of both countries and the commonality of interests create favorable prerequisites for effectively combining efforts to create multimodal transport and transit corridors using the capabilities of the Caspian and Black Sea regions.
The energy industry was also named as a topical area of partnership between Turkmenistan and Georgia. Particular emphasis was placed on the importance of intensifying the dialogue in the humanitarian sphere.
Priority issues of state life related to the implementation of the country's economic and social development programs were discussed at a regular meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, held by President Serdar Berdimuhamedov on a digital system on October 28.
The topics discussed included further improvement of the administrative-territorial structure of the velayats, the intensification of inter-parliamentary cooperation, priority areas for the development of the domestic fuel and energy complex, the course of seasonal agricultural campaigns and water supply for cropland, increasing the capacity of chemical industry enterprises, diversifying export routes for the supply of electricity, comprehensive and coordinated joint activities of the agro-industrial complex and textile industry, cooperation with the world's largest companies in the transport sector.

A separate topic of the meeting was the results of the working visit of the delegation of Turkmenistan to the Republic of Korea, which took place on October 23-27, which, according to the Order of the President of Turkmenistan, was sent to the cities of Seoul and Busan to participate in the 15th Cooperation Forum "Central Asia - Republic of Korea".

As a result of the ministerial meeting, a Joint Statement and the Work Plan of the Secretariat of the Central Asia-Republic of Korea Cooperation Forum for 2023 were adopted, as well as a decision on the chairmanship in this format of Turkmenistan in 2023 and holding the next, 16th Forum in Ashgabat.
As part of the 15th Forum, on October 26, a regular meeting of the Business Council "Central Asia - Republic of Korea" was held, where the prospects for deepening productive business contacts in the main areas of the economy were outlined. and plans for the future. Bilateral meetings were also held with the leadership of leading Korean companies and associations.
Meetings and negotiations were held in Seoul and Busan with a number of leaders of the Republic of Korea, during which they discussed the possibility of increasing bilateral cooperation in various areas of the economy, through parliaments and the Foreign Ministry, and also considered the issue of establishing sister city relations between the cities of Turkmenbashi and Busan.
President Serdar Berdimuhamedov stressed that one of the key vectors of Turkmenistan's foreign policy strategy was the development of constructive cooperation with the states of the Asia-Pacific region. At the meeting, the President of the country signed the Resolution on the conclusion of a contract between the State Concern "Türkmenhimiýa" and the Limited Liability Company “Navoiý Milling” (Republic of Uzbekistan) on the purchase of phosphate rock, as well as the Resolution on the conclusion of an additional agreement to the contract concluded between the State Electricity Corporation “Türkmenenergo” Ministry of Energy and Joint Stock Company “Özbegistanyň milli elektrik ulgamlary” (Republic of Uzbekistan).
