The Scientific-Clinical Center of Oncology is held the scientific-practical conference on topical issues of prevention, early diagnosis of cancer of the reproductive health of women. The conference is gathered by oncologists of the capital and regions held in the framework of the Ashgabat Declaration on Prevention and Control of Non-communicable Diseases.

As is known, the issues of prevention of oncologic disease in Turkmenistan are taken paramount role in accordance with the State Programme Development of Health Care in Turkmenistan for 2012-2016 years. Issues of prevention, treatment, cancer disease as well as rehabilitation of cancer patient are discussed. The strategy on Control of cervical and breast cancer in accordance with the know-how achievements of medical science develop the standards on prevention and treatment of malignant neoplasms. With the aim to reveal oncologic disease it is regularly conducted the preventive medical examination of women. Doctors and paramedical personnel conduct the work on raising public awareness.

In accordance with experts’ opinion as a result of the held work the morbidity and mortality rates are decreasing.
