President of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov awarded People’s Artist of Turkmenistan Fahriya Aliyeva with «Garassyz Turkmenistana bolan beyik soygusi ucin» order in the Palace Complex “Oguzkhan”. The Chairperson of the Mejlis, some Deputy Chairmen of the Cabinet of Ministers, the Minister of Culture, heads of the committees of National Parliament as well as Democratic Party, the Party of the Industrialists and Entrepreneurs, the Agrarian Party took part in solemn ceremony.
Having warmly greeted the tutor of many generations of theatre artists, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted that People’s Artist, leading figure of the stage Fahriya Aliyeva, who devoted all her life to the art, is very famous. She worked selfless for 65 years in Turkmen State Academic Drama Theatre named after Mollanepes faithfully serving to our people, the Leader of the Nation said.
Fahriya Aliyeva, uzbek by nationality, was born in Kaahka etrap on July 1, 1922. She was brought up in the family with many children. She graduated Moscow State Institute of Theatre Art named after Lunacharskiy in Drama and Cinema Artist in 1941 and ever since until 2006 worked in the leading theatre of our country.
The Head of the State esteemed priceless contribution of talented master into establishment and improvement of domestic theatre and cinema. The actress created big variety of bright, unforgettable stage images, played brilliantly in the movies, having won recognition and love of the spectators. The merits of Fahriya Aliyeva in development of the culture, education of young talents, masters of the stage are great, the Leader of the Nation continued.
We treat with deep respect the masters of national art, give deserving estimation to their selfless work, the head of the State said. Following this noble tradition, number of cultural workers, representatives of art intellectuals received state awards in the Year of Honour of Heritage and Transformation of the Motherland.

Having expressed the gratitude for inestimable contribution to national art, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov handed highest sate award to the master and wished her strong health, longevity and great happiness. “Let all those beautiful images created by you in Turkmen cinema and theatre art always serves as samples for young generations!” – The Leader of the nation said.
The People’s Artist of Turkmenistan expressed her sincere gratitude to the Head of the State for high estimation of her many years of work, for care and attention, for wide activity in broad popularization of Turkmen culture and national art around the world. “I treat this award as recognition of work of all those who were at the root of establishment of modern domestic art” – Fahriya Aliyeva said.

The Head of the State noted that currently large-scale work for improvement of the system of domestic public health, implementation of new technologies and methods, improvement of quality of medical services is carried out in the country under the slogan “Health of the Nation – treasury of the State”. All these establish foundation for formation of physically fit and spiritually rich generation.
Continuing his speech, the Leader of the Nation highlighted that our state and society pay great attention to the development of culture and art, revival of national heritage, its preservation and passing down to future generations as the culture is a spirit of the people.
Today, education, public health and culture, while being priority directions, compose integrated pivot of our policy, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said.
