The train, sent to Afghanistan by new way, includes 46 trucks with production of Turkmen manufacturers: 10 trucks of flour, grain and cement. Sulphur and carbamide are among other cargoes.
The flour and grain are the priority food products. If building materials and mineral fertilizers are demanded, it means that Afghan economy revives, construction and industrial projects are being started and agricultural production is being activated. Confectionaries were other separate part of the cargo.
From the beginning of the year, total volume of supplies from Turkmenistan to Afghanistan was more than 1.4 million tons, where 865.4 thousand tons of oil production, 310.7 thousand tons of liquefied gas, 121.7 thousand tons of wheat and flour, 18.2 thousand tons of other production.
Until the opening of Atamyrat – Ymamnazar _ Akina section, all volume of cargoes between Turkmenistan and Afghanistan was transferred via Serhetabat – Turgundy and Kelif-Termez – Mazari-Sharif sections. 75 percent of total turnover (559.8 thousand tons) consisted of Turkmen production and 25 percent (182.7 thousand tons) was the goods from other countries. Thus, the need for new railroad was obvious and its importance is just being revealed and it would be expand its limits with extension of new territories, projects and logistic networks.

Huge funds would be received by the state treasury for transit of gas on the territory of the country.

More than 12 thousands of work occupancies for our Afghan brothers would be established.
