On occasion of the Neutrality day, President of Turkmenistan, Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces of the country Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov signed the Decree on pardon of convicted persons releasing them from sentencing of the main and additional punishment.

According to the document, more than 560 people including some foreign citizens are released from the detention.

The President of Turkmenistan requested all pardoned persons to be returned to their families as soon as possible and instructed to undertake all necessary measures for their employment.
