Having congratulating on the 21st anniversary of the adoption of the status of permanently neutral state to Turkmenistan by the United Nations General Assembly, the Head of the Mejlis and Deputy Chairpersons of the Cabinet of Ministers, leaders of military and law enforcement agencies wished strong health, happiness, longevity and grandiose successes to the Head of the State on the way of large-scale transformation programmes of combined development initiated by him.
Highlighting special importance of this holiday in modern history of Turkmen people, the participants on behalf of the compatriots expressed sincere gratitude to President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov for internal and foreign policy led by him and which is oriented at social and economic progress, provision of general security and sustainable development in the world.

It was mentioned that the status of permanent neutrality delegated to Turkmenistan allowed our state to pursue peace-making policy, which is directly enhance the regulation of the situation in the Central Asian region and to initiate and realize large-scale projects of international significance.
The opening of the Head Quarter of the Regional Centre of Preventive Diplomacy for the Central Asia in Ashgabat, which is unique and required by the time demands structure of the UN and make considerable contribution to intensification of constructive respectful dialog between the countries of the region and consolidation of traditional partnership, became the evidence of high authority of Turkmenistan.
The neutrality status, which for the first time in the history was supported and approved by all members of the UN, became the ground for realization of multi-aspect foreign policy strategy of our State, which adheres to the principles of good neighbourhood and broad cooperation, - President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov highlighted, having declared that Turkmenistan would continue following the chosen course, being opened for constructive comprehensive cooperation for universal interests.
