10 winners and 25 prize-winners - these are the results of the II Olympiad in the Russian language «Wealth of language - wealth of the people», held by the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azady among students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan.
The highest award - the Grand Prix of the Olympiad was awarded to Hojaberdi Hojaberdiyev, a student of the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan.
The top nine winners - owners of the first places included students from different universities of the country. Among them: Maral Hommadova (Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management), Ilya Luriyev (International University of Oil and Gas named after Y. Kakayev), Medine Sopytaganova (Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly), Myrat Oraznyyazov (Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan) , Altynjemal Sylapova (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi), Hojamyrat Orazov (Engineering and Technological University of Turkmenistan named after Oguzhan), Guljan Komekova (State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryyev), Leyli Rejepova (International University of Humanities and Development) and Annaberdi Kashanov (Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan).
11 second and 14 third places were won by students of these universities, as well as the Military Institute of the Ministry of Defense of the country, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Nyyazov, the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications of the country, the Institute of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Turkmenistan, the Turkmen State Institute of Culture, the Turkmen State Institute of Finance, the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan, the Border Institute of Turkmenistan, the Turkmen National Conservatory named after Maya Kuliyeva, the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute and the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan.
The winners and prize-winners of the competition of experts in the Russian language were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
The Olympiad was held in the form of testing in a remote format. In general, 115 students from 23 universities of the country spoke on the online platform of the student competition in the Russian language.
The Olympiad was organized as part of the implementation of the Concept for Improving the Teaching of Foreign Languages and the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan. Among the main goals of its holding, the organizers also note the development and improvement of skills, assessing the level of knowledge of students in the subject, identifying the most talented, creatively gifted, capable participants, as well as stimulating interest in the further study and popularization of the Russian language as a language of interethnic communication.
