Turkmen capital, white-marble and majestic Ashgabat appears in its bright and smart New Year attire, shining with fancy ornaments of celebration illumination. The tour of international circus will be continued until January 22 adorning the programme of winter school holidays. Young citizens are the main participants of New Year events, which baton starts officially on December 23 by switching the lights on main Christmas trees located on central squares in different regions of our country.

The meeting of New Year 2017 will be completed by bright firework.
As usually, 14 children recreation centres in Gyokdere, where pupils from all regions of our country will go for winter school holidays, will be the residence for the main heroes of New Year, Ayaz Baba and his charming granddaughter Garpamyk. Other five velayat super modern children sanatoriums for 300 places each will open their doors for young guests.
Totally, all children recreation centre of the country, which are at full readiness to winter school holidays, are able to host almost nine thousand kids from any place of the State. Each centre has its own New Year atmosphere; fluffy Christmas trees are set and decorated with celebration attire; rooms for children decorated in accordance with New Year celebration design.
The Ministry of Education informed that large work was undertaken for preparation to winter season, extensive plan of celebration events, which were joint initiative of the ministries of education, culture, public health and medical industry, large non-governmental organizations, the State Committee for Sport and other departments, which traditionally involved in preparation of winter school holiday, was made. They did great work for main heroes of celebration events to enjoy the atmosphere of New Year transformation and wonders.
The children will participate in different cultural and educational, entertainment activities – funny competitions, round dances, trips, meetings with favourite artists of the stage, theatre and circus.
