A symphony concert was held in the Great Hall of the Turkmen National Conservatory named after M. Kulieva, and for Dovletmammet Okdirov, a fifth-year student of the Conducting Department, it was also an exam.
Dovletmammet is a laureate of the State Prize "Türkmeniň Altyn asyry" and the Youth Prize of Turkmenistan named after Magtymguly. During his second year of studies, he had conducted the opera "Nejep oglan", in his third year he conducted the opera "Gul - Bilbil". He can participate in concerts as a host and even as a choir soloist.
At the exam, Dovletmammet performed the work "Uzuklar" by the Honored Art Worker Sukhan Tuyliev. This five-part musical legend for reciter, flute, oboe, clarinet, violin and symphony orchestra was fully performed for the first time.
The concert program also included Symphony of People's Artist of Turkmenistan Danatar Khydyrov and Concerto for Violin and Symphony Orchestra by Finnish composer Jean Sibelius. The soloist of the Concerto was Bakhram Dolyev, who once again showed his virtuosity in playing the violin.
The concert was a great success with the audience, and there was no doubt that Dovletmammet Okdirov received an "A" for his performance.
