The State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan summed up the results of subject Olympiads organized by the university among students of higher educational institutions of the country in honor of the upcoming double holiday - the Day of the Constitution and the State Flag of Turkmenistan.
5 winners and 32 prize-winners were determined based on the final results of two student Olympiads - on the history of Turkmenistan and the fundamentals of the legislation of Turkmenistan.
The top five experts in the history of their country included Oguljeren Gaipova (Turkmen State Institute of Culture), Begzat Bazarkulov (Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seidi), Saparmurat Myatdurdyev (State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan), Dovletmurat Tejenov (Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management) and Jora Dzhumakulov (Turkmen Agricultural University named after S.A. Niyazov).
The second five winners of the Olympiad on the fundamentals of the legislation of Turkmenistan were Gulay Toychiyeva, Sabina Abdikadyrova (Turkmen State Institute of Finance), Merdan Charyev (International University for the Humanities and Development), Govher Mommadova (Y. Kakaev International University of Oil and Gas) and Davut Khamraev ( State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan).
13 second and 19 third places in each of the two Olympiads were won by students of these universities, as well as the Turkmen State University named after Makhtumkuli, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi, the Turkmen Agricultural Institute, the State Medical University of Turkmenistan named after M. Garryev , the Turkmen State Institute of Physical Culture and Sports, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the State Academy of Arts of Turkmenistan, the Institute of Engineering and Transport Communications and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country.
The winners and prize-winners of subject Olympiads were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees.
In general, 155 students from 18 universities of Turkmenistan took part in the Olympiads. Intellectual competitions among students were held in the form of online testing.
The Olympiads are organized within the framework of the implementation of the Concept for the Development of the Digital Education System in Turkmenistan and the State Program for the Development of Social and Humanitarian Sciences.
Conducting subject Olympiads is aimed at identifying erudite, talented, active young people who are able to think broadly and solve problems independently, as well as strengthening interuniversity interaction, including through information and communication technologies.
Stimulating and developing the interest of young people in the further study and popularization of their native culture, history, the formation of a high patriotic consciousness among the younger generation, a sense of loyalty to their Fatherland are also among the main goals of student competitions.
