Football players of «Arkadag» reached the semi-finals of the Cup of Turkmenistan, having beaten the capital «Kopetdag» following the results of two matches.

In the first game, which took place in the central arena of the «Ashgabat» stadium, «Arkadag» won - 5:1. The return match took place at the «Nisa» stadium in the capital.

«Kopetdag» to enter the next round of the competition had to win with a difference of five goals. However, this task for the team of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Turkmenistan was beyond the power.

In the 15th minute, Didar Durdyyev converted a penalty and put «Arkadag» ahead - 1:0. After 10 minutes, Yazgylych Gurbanov restored the balance - 1:1, and on this the scoring fuse of «Kopetdag» dried up. In the future, only «Arkadag» players scored goals. Defender Mekan Saparov scored in the 31st minute, team captain Arslanmyrat Amanov scored in the 36th minute. And Yhlas Toyjanov put an end to the game in the 61st minute.

Having won the second victory over «Kopetdag», this time with a score of 4:1, the players of «Arkadag» made it to the semifinals of the Cup of Turkmenistan, where they will now meet with the winner of the pair «Nebitchi» (Balkanabat) - «Altyn Asyr» (Ashgabat). Remind that the first match of these rivals on the «Altyn Asyr» field ended in a minimal victory for the capital club - 1:0.
