The Turkmen State Institute of Finance has announced the winners and prize-winners of Internet Olympiads in Economics and Ecology, held by the university among students of secondary vocational schools of the country.
The Olympiads were held in the form of individual and team competitions, in which 60 students of three vocational schools of Economics took part.
Three winners were determined in the individual competition of the Olympiad in Economics. They are students of the Specialized Banking School named after the Hero of Turkmenistan Atamurat Niyazov: Makhym Yusupova, Govher Hallyeva and Ogulgerek Khodjamyradova.
The second places were awarded to four students of the same vocational school and one student of the Ashgabat Financial and Economic Secondary Vocational School.
5 out of 9 third places were also awarded to students of the Financial and Economic Vocational School and 4 more to representatives of the Trade and Cooperative School of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan.
Students of the Specialized Banking School named after the Hero of Turkmenistan Atamurat Niyazov were similarly at the top in the team competition of the Olympiad in Economics. The second and third places went to the students of the Financial and Economic and Trade and Cooperative Vocational Schools, respectively.
According to the results of the Olympiad in Ecology, two winners were announced: Yazgul Amanova (Trade and Cooperative School) and Oraznabat Agamyradova (Financial and Economic Vocational School).
Representatives of three educational institutions almost equally divided 5 second and 7 third places in the competition.
The results of the team competition were as follows: I place - Trade and Cooperative School of the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations of Turkmenistan, II place - Ashgabat Financial and Economic Secondary Vocational School and III place - Specialized Banking School named after the Hero of Turkmenistan Atamurat Niyazov.
The winners and prize-winners of subject Olympiads were awarded diplomas of the corresponding degrees from the Turkmen State Institute of Finance. Teachers of vocational schools were awarded diplomas for participation in the preparation of their students.
The Financial Institute of the country practices holding Olympiads in various disciplines among students of universities and secondary vocational schools on a regular basis. Among the main goals of the organization of intellectual competitions are the identification of the most talented and capable students, the stimulation of educational and cognitive activity and interest of young people in the study of various sciences, the training of highly qualified specialists, who are called upon to make a worthy contribution to the development of the national economy in the future.
