With a score of 8:7 in favour of the team of the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi, the finals of the student Brain-ring held by the Institute of Telecommunications and Informatics of Turkmenistan together with the Ministry of Education of the country in honour of the 300th anniversary of the birth of the greatest poet and philosopher of the East ended Magtymguly Pyragy.
So, the team of the Higher Language School of the country became the winner and the owner of the first place according to the results of the Brain-ring final. The rival of the university in the final test of the game - the team of the Turkmen State Institute of Economics and Management received the second place.
Participants of the semi-finals, 2 teams of players from the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi and the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country competed for the third prize. As a result of the meeting, the Higher School of Diplomacy won by a small margin and became the bronze medalist of the game.
In general, the Brain-ring, which took place for almost a month, consisted of four stages. The qualifying stage included eight games, in each of which two teams of players representing 16 universities of the country acted as rivals. The quarter-finals included four games involving 8 teams. 4 of them played in two games of the semi-final and 2 in the final.
The intellectual game with the participation of students of the country's universities has become a real battle of wits, an impressive spectacle and an unforgettable meeting for all participants and eyewitnesses of the event. The brain-ring was held in a tense spirit of competition, the participants sincerely worried about the success of their teams, closely followed the course of the game, reacted with lightning speed to the tasks of the presenter and showed wide erudition in bright and confident performances.
It is worth emphasizing the high level of organization and holding of the student Brain-ring, thanks to which the game dedicated to the life and work of the great son of the Turkmen people Magtymguly Pyragy turned out to be truly interesting and memorable.
