In the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State, radical reforms, which are the guarantor of prosperity of our native Fatherland and happy life of people in Turkmenistan, are successfully implemented under the wise leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedova to achieve new heights of development. Every day of the year “The Happy youth with Arkadag Serdar” is marked by important historical events.

So, on June 12, the President of Turkmenistan held an online working meeting, which considered issues of development of regions of the country as well as the course of agricultural campaigns.

On June 12, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea to Turkmenistan Ji Kyu-taek, who presented his credentials to the head of state.

During the meeting, the dynamic nature of interstate partnership was emphasized both in a bilateral format and within the framework of authoritative international structures, primarily the UN. An example of a successful dialogue in a multilateral format is the established productive contacts within the framework of the Cooperation Forum "Central Asia - the Republic of Korea". Inter-parliamentary partnership has intensified in recent years, complementing the multifaceted growing Turkmen-Korean relations.

On June 13, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the western region of the country and familiarised himself with the course of realisation of the state program for social and economic development of regions and rates of wheat harvest.

The head of the state had a talk with a farmer and the head of the individual enterprise “Batly gadam” in Gyzylarbat etrap as well with a machine operator of the service enterprise in Gyzylarbat etrap. He showed an interest in their marital status, working conditions, productivity in wheat fields and especially noted an active dynamics of involvement of the private sector in the agrarian and industrial complex and a growing rate of production.

On June 15, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov received Deputy Chairman of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Council for Seed Production of the CIS (ICCC CIS), President of the “Seeds” Association Ivan Kuzmin.

An interested exchange of views took place on the prospects for further cooperation, taking into account the existing potential and the key tasks set for the national agro-industrial complex. Presence of many opportunities for the organisation on a systematic basis of training courses on improvement of professional skill and retraining of profile personnel was also marked.

On June 16, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov held an enlarged outdoor meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers and took part in celebrations on the occasion of a stone-laying ceremony of the second turn of construction of Arkadag city.

The agenda of meeting of the Government included issues of further improvement of social standard of living of population.

Having congratulated the gathered and all Turkmen people on the upcoming sacred holiday, the head of the state signed the Decree on celebration of Gurban bayramy on June 28-29-30 and the Resolution on holding the opening ceremony of Arkadag city on June 29, 2023 at a high organizational level.

Upon completion of the meeting, a stone-laying ceremony of the second turn of construction of Arkadag city took place.

To a storm of applause of the gathered, President Serdar Berdimuhamedov threw a capsule with a memorable message to descendants into the base of one of projects of the second turn of Arkadag city, having put first shovels of concrete mix into the basis of the future new building, thereby by a developed noble tradition gave a symbolical start to a grandiose undertaking.

During the celebration, electric buses and electric cars as well as municipal machinery and service motor transport were presented to establishments of the city.

It is necessary to note that "smart" city of Arkadag first in Turkmenistan was included in the project "Development of Sustainable, Green, Climate Friendly Cities with Innovative Solutions in the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe Region" that testifies to international recognition of all works conducted here.

According to national traditions after celebration a festive sadaka was given.

The book “Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov Charitable Fund for Assistance to Children in Need of Guardianship”, which contains data on the activity of the fund, was presented to all participants of actions.

Several days before this significant event, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to the city of Arkadag, where he familiarised himself with a large-scale work carried out in the new city and its vicinities.

Hero-Arkadag gave special attention to accomplishment of the ring road and effective functioning of road and transport infrastructure, issues of preparation for the opening ceremony of children's health centre named after Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, a lay-out of structures of parking lot for passenger transport of the new city where all is provided necessary for maintenance service of electric buses and electric taxis, development of uniform harmonious architectural space of the international Akhal-Teke horse-racing complex.

On June 14, National Leader of the Turkmen people, Chairman of the Khalk Maslakhaty of Turkmenistan Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov made a working trip to Ak bugday etrap of Akhal velayat, in which he familiarised himself with activity of structures of agriculture and rates of harvesting season.

At the edge of the wheat field of experimental seed-growing farmers association “Bugdaýly tejribe-tohumçylyk” , Hero-Arkadag met with Deputy Chairman of the Intergovernmental Coordinating Council for Seed Production of the CIS (ICCC CIS), President of the “Seeds” Association Ivan Kuzmin, who arrived in our country with a working visit.

Hero-Arkadag Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov had a talk also with a tenant farmer of the farmers association and one of machine operators, showed an interest in working conditions, estimate of harvest, marital status and, having cut off at the desire of the farmer with words «Bismilla» the first sheaf of mature wheat, gave his blessing to the start of grain harvest.

Then, the National Leader of the Turkmen people discussed with corresponding heads and foreign visitors the issues connected with development of the agrarian sector and innovative methods of economy.

Among other events of the week - the meeting, which took place in the Mejlis with the delegation of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), headed by the High Commissioner on National Minorities (HCNM) Kairat Abdrakhmanov.

Within the framework of his stay, the High Commissioner of OSCE on National Minorities in Turkmenistan held meetings in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a number of ministries and departments.

In the foreign policy department of the country the regular meeting of the National Commission of Turkmenistan for UNESCO was held with participation of representatives of profile ministries and departments and also corresponding international organisations and mass media.

Its agenda included the report on work of Turkmenistan as a member of the Executive council of the Intergovernmental oceanographic commission of UNESCO for 2021-2023.

In the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the meeting with Director of the UNESCO Cluster Office in Tehran, the Representative of UNESCO in Turkmenistan and Iran, Golda El Khoury was held and concrete areas of interaction between Turkmenistan and this largest specialised establishment of the United Nations were considered.

International scientific conference “Science, technics and innovative technologies in the Era of Revival of the New Epoch of the Powerful State” was dated to Science Day, which is widely marked in our country on June 12.

Besides Turkmen scientists, the forum brought together teachers and young employees of profile institutes of the Academy of Sciences and higher educational institutions, representatives of scientific circles from Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Vietnam, Russia, Republic Korea, Tajikistan, Turkey, Japan and others.

Foreign participants of the forum, having confirmed adherence to further all-round expansion and deepening of fruitful cooperation with Turkmen colleagues, exchanged opinions on ways of its development in the context of priorities of national programs of development.

On margins of celebrations devoted to Science Day, the awarding ceremony of winners of competition of scientific works among young scientists of the country took place.

The last week Avaza national tourist zone became a venue of the International dance and folklore festival "Avaza-2023" and scientific-practical conference “Traditions of folklore creativity and national dance”.

In the action organised at the initiative of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov by the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, heads and representatives of international organisations, profile departments, scientists and experts, art workers and masters of stage from Iran, India, Kazakhstan, China, Tajikistan, Russia, Romania, Uzbekistan took part.

The past week the President of Turkmenistan signed a number of documents. Among them - Decree of the President of Turkmenistan on the appointment of judges of the courts of Turkmenistan and assignment of qualifying classes, Resolution on design and construction of a 5,000-seat complex of buildings of the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after Seyitnazar Seydi in Turkmenabat city, Lebap velayat. He also approved the Road map on development of international cooperation aimed at exploration of issue of joining of Turkmenistan the Global Methane Commitment for 2023-2024 and the Plan of actions on its realisation. Besides it, by the corresponding Resolution of the President of Turkmenistan the Ministry of Trade and Foreign Economic Relations was authorised to conclude a contract on fulfilment of work on designing and building with accomplishment of adjoining territories and full readiness for operation of the national pavilion of Turkmenistan for participation in the World EXPO-2025, which will take place in Osaka (Japan) in 2025 with economic society “Belli”.

Thus, events of the past week filled up the country’s annals with new achievements in political and economic spheres, cultural and spiritual life of people striving under the leadership of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov forward on the way of progress and prosperity.
