The document was signed during a working visit to the State of Qatar by a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Mergen Gurdov, Chairman of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry. This is reported on the CCI website.  

The main purpose of the trip is to discuss organizational issues on Turkmenistan's participation in the International Horticultural Exhibition "Expo-2023 Doha", which will be held in the capital of Qatar under the motto "Green Desert, Better Environment" from October 2, 2023 to March 28, 2024.

In addition, during the visit of the Turkmen delegation, a meeting was organized with the leadership of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the State of Qatar on further activation of bilateral trade and economic relations.

An area of 80 hectares has been allocated for the International Horticulture Exhibition or Expo-2023 in Doha. Organizers promise that the Expo-2023 site will be a demonstration of experiences in innovation, sustainable development, exchange, culture and entertainment, inviting the world to an event that can be a part of history.
