As part of the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and Yerevan State University in the new academic year 2023-2024 a number of lectures are planned to coincide with the 300th anniversary of Turkmen poet-philosopher Magtymguly Fragi. Turkmenistan in the Republic of Armenia M. Ayazov with the rector of Yerevan State University Hovhannes Hovhannisyan.

According to the Foreign Ministry of Turkmenistan, during meeting, a constructive exchange of views on cooperation in science and education, popularization of the Turkmen language, literature and culture in Armenia. Concerning cooperation and exchange of experience between faculty and students of two partner universities, the Ambassador of Turkmenistan proposed to invite TSU teachers for lecturing and holding classes at Yerevan State University.

For its part, the Armenian side proposed in connection with the anniversary year to publish articles about Magtymguly Fragi in scientific journals Armenia, as well as to hold an international conference dedicated to creativity of the Turkmen classical poet.
