In accordance with the Law of Turkmenistan "On Accession to the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region" signed by the President of Turkmenistan in November last year, the Innovation Information Center of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan is defined as an authorized body performing the functions of national information centers specified in the above-mentioned Convention.

The Centre is designed to ensure the fulfillment of the obligations arising from the Convention on the Recognition of Qualifications concerning Higher Education in the European Region and to improve the work on the recognition in Turkmenistan of documents on secondary and higher vocational education issued in foreign countries.

The official website of the Center with the domain name nic.gov.tm, launched on July 21, will contribute to the implementation of these important functions.
