The delegation of Turkmenistan consisting of three people participates in the first Asian Ice Hockey Youth Camp, which takes place in Tashkent.

There is practically no free time in the schedule of athletes.

Trainings under the guidance of specialists from Canada, Switzerland, Finland are held daily, both on and off the ice in the form of training seminars. Representatives of about 40 National Olympic Committees of Asia, as well as Australia and New Zealand, were divided into three teams — two men's and one women's.

— It is very nice to see so many athletes and coaches from different parts of Asia in one place. This is a great initiative, and it should be welcomed," said Corey McNabb, one of the mentors of the hockey camp.

— Despite the fact that I am not a beginner in hockey, I am learning a lot of new things for myself, which will be useful in my professional activity in the future, — said Akhmet Gurbanov, one of the representatives of the Turkmen delegation.

The ice hockey youth camp will last until August 7.
