The first useful semi-finished products were created on the basis of biotechnological laboratories of the Technology Center of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan.

Among the new products are instant noodles with spices, dry juices, pumpkin and corn flour. As well as dry soups - pea, tomato, vegetable, pumpkin, bean, corn and herb soup.

Having studied in the laboratory the combination and interaction of the initial products, Turkmen developers confirm the maximum naturalness and quality of domestic semi-finished products. In their compositions no content of monosodium glutamate, preservatives and dyes, which are often found in similar products.

In addition, scientists obtained concentrates of gourds - watermelon and melons, which in the future can be widely used in various food and pharmaceutical industries. This development will allow not to resort to the use of chemical additives in food products and drugs.

Garlic concentrate has become another useful development of scientific employees.

When creating garlic powder, specialists managed to save all beneficial properties of the product, reducing the level of proteins, dietary fiber, sugars, eliminating trans fats and cholesterol. Subsequently garlic concentrate will save a lot of time and production costs canned food, sausages, food.

Representatives of the National Institute of Deserts share their successes, flora and fauna of the Ministry of Environmental Protection Turkmenistan. The specialists of the Institute managed to achieve the first results in the cultivation of a medicinal plant called momordica.

Known in the language of the Turkic peoples as "gudrat nary", momordica is herbaceous climbing vine from the gourd family.

The value of a plant is in its stems and fruits, which have many useful elements. As established by modern science, in the fruit of the plant contains substances that can lower the level of total cholesterol, blood sugar levels in diabetics, stimulate insulin production and even treat some types of cancer.

The work carried out by Turkmen specialists on growing this plant gave positive results. In perspective momordica grown in the climatic conditions of Turkmenistan can find wide application for medicinal purposes.
