Monumental decorative structure «Dowamat» rose in the sky at the intersection of N. Andalib and Oguz Khan Avenues. Spherical construction of the stele is made of six curved columns in the shape of the crescent, which symbolize six sons of the founder of Turkmens - Oguz Khan. The internal composition emphasizes high-principled idea of the construction, which means new quality content of modern national statehood, succession of the generations, unity and solidarity of Turkmen people, its intent for consolidation of peace, friendship and cooperation with other peoples.
Another stele, consisting of three steel columns rushing upwards as a flame, called «Alaw», decorated the intersection of N. Andalib and Gyorogly Avenues. Its artistic concept traces the idea of common hearth, prosperity and sufficiency, what is evidenced by the respect that Turkmen people pay to dastarkhan – the tablecloth of affluence. Modern architectural innovations were applied during the construction of the monuments.
The events were continued at the intersection of N. Andalib and Gurbansoltan Eje Avenues, where new automobile bridge with three-level interchange was erected in accordance with international standards.
The project of new transport infrastructure of the capital is the part of large work under realization of staged modernization of the roads, which stipulates the construction of modern bridges and interchanges, multi-level car parking, underground passes and flyovers, engineering and communication networks and implementation of modern safe traffic controls.
The construction, including new bridge, 380-meters tunnels and roundabout, replaced exisiting outdated transport communication in that place. Advanced engineering and technical solutions were used in the construction of the interchange. It has eight entries and exits, which are made in original architectural style using the elements of modern and national decoration. All roads have passenger crossings for the comfort of the citizens.
Weight loading characteristics, climate and geological conditions, specific to our country, were accounted during realization of technical solutions. High seismic resistance was provided - the construction is able to withstand earthquakes up to 9 on the Richter scale.
The technical characteristic of the construction meet all requirements. All necessary engineering communications, including water drainages, drip irrigation for the plants, electrical supply for technical needs and lighting, are laid along the road. Traffic lane markings are made of modern durable materials.
