The growth rate of Turkmenistan's gross domestic product increased by 6.2 percent in January-July this year. This was announced by H.Geldimyradov, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Turkmenistan for Economy, at the government meeting dedicated to the results of the socio-economic development of the country for seven months of the year.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the volume of manufactured products increased by 6.3 percent compared with the same period of 2022, retail trade turnover increased by 9.4 percent, and foreign trade turnover – by 4.9 percent.

It was also stressed at the government meeting that the State Concern "Turkmennebit" fulfilled the oil supply plan by 101 percent, oil refining – by 101.5 percent, gasoline production – by 105.1 percent, diesel fuel – by 104.9 percent, the production of lubricating oils – by 110.1 percent and liquefied gas – by 108.8 percent.

In addition, during the period under review, the plan for the extraction of natural and associated gas was fulfilled by 109 percent, and for the export of "blue fuel" – by 114 percent.
