Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan announced a drawing competition among schoolchildren of the country “Tebigatyň gözelligi - 2030” (“Beauty of Nature – 2030”).
Students of schools in Turkmenistan who wish to take part in competition, it is necessary to prepare thematic drawings on sheets of A3/A4 format. On the reverse side of the sheet, you must indicate last name, first name, school number, class and telephone number. Works accepted until November 1 at the IMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs at the address: Ashgabat, Galkynysh street, 25.
The purpose of the competition is to develop the concept and improve the culture of ecology among young people. In the title of the competition “Beauty of Nature – 2030” the idea is to reflect the vision of the future of our planet through the eyes of youth, the desire of the younger generation to build the future is sustainable and prosperous, making it more beautiful, contribute to ensuring a high level and quality of life on earth, harmonious coexistence of man and nature.
As you know, the 17 Sustainable Development Goals are aimed at achieving this. Development Goals (SDGs) formulated by the United Nations and adopted by all UN member states in 2015 within the framework of the Agenda for Sustainable Development for the period to 2030, which sets out a 15-year plan to achieve them.
As reported on the website of the IMO Ministry of Foreign Affairs, on the eve of the 18th Youth Conference (COY18) and UN Conference (COP-28) Turkmenistan hosted a Youth Forum on issues climate change, organized by government Turkmenistan together with the Office of the Resident Coordinator UN in Turkmenistan, British embassies and United Arab Emirates. Final thematic the forum is planned to be held on November 3 in the capital's hotel "Archabil".
The winners of the drawing competition “Beauty of Nature – 2030” will receive the right to take part in a youth forum dedicated to climate change, and will also receive memorable gifts from Institute.
