The Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of Turkmenistan presented the third issue of the scientific and practical electronic journal «Innovative Technologies in Turkmenistan». The selection of its materials reflects the results of research by scientists in priority areas of science with a focus on their practical application.
Thus, the article «Desert and oases: dynamics of interaction in time and space» contains information about the developed map diagram of environmentally problematic areas of Turkmenistan, mainly formed around oases, which will help in the development of environmental protection measures.
The article «Internet portal on renewable energy sources» is devoted to the scientifically based selection of the most suitable natural locations for the design and effective use of photovoltaic solar and wind power plants in the conditions of Turkmenistan. Its authors note that to assess the country’s solar and wind energy reserves, a single data centre and an Internet portal have been created, which make it possible to reasonably determine the location of solar and wind energy installations.
The article «Discovering productive formations and the method of well development» discusses the issues of choosing a suitable drilling method for extracting oil and gas from productive formations, which is of practical importance for improving the scientific and technical foundations of the oil and gas industry, which is strategic for the economy of Turkmenistan. The article «Biotechnological methods of combating soil salinization» is devoted to the urgent problem of reducing the amount of salts in the soil, which is important for increasing the efficiency of agricultural production.
Medical science in the selection of materials from the magazine is represented by articles devoted to an innovative method for obtaining dry extract from milk thistle seeds and an effective method for treating skin diseases. The article «Optimization of the operation of the traffic control system» contains proposals for improving the traffic light control system in order to increase the capacity of intersections.
The authors of the articles published in the third issue of the electronic journal «Innovative Technologies in Turkmenistan» are representatives of academic and university science, among whom are already well-known scientific authorities in the country and young scientists.
