The 20th round of the Turkmenistan Championship kicked off with two matches in Ashgabat football among major league clubs.
The players of “Arkadag” and “Shagadam” were the first to enter the Nisa stadium from the city of Turkmenbashi.
A debutant at the national championship, representing the first in Turkmenistan, a “smart” city of national importance, quickly opened check. Shanazar Tirkishov did it in the 16th minute. At the 28th minute the best scorer of last year's championship of Turkmenistan Didar Durdyev doubled Arkadag's lead by converting a penalty.
It seemed that the wards of a famous former national football player the national team of Turkmenistan Begenchmuhammed Kuliev will easily win the next victory. But it was not there. In the 64th minute, Ikhlas Magtymov pulled one back goal, and on the 83rd – he scored a double and equalized the score – 2:2.

Having won with a score of 3:2, Arkadag scored 51 points in 17 matches and further strengthened its leading position. Altyn, in second position Asyr is 13 points behind the leader, having a game with Ashgabat in hand.
The second players to enter the field of the Nisa stadium were the players of “Ahal” and “Nebitchi.”
In the 12th minute, Elman Tagaev brought Ahal ahead - 1:0. However, under curtain of the first half, the guests carried out two effective attacks and broke the course of the game is in your favor. The Nebitchi team scored with accurate shots Akmamed Metdayev (36th minute) and Serdar Tukiev (39th minute).
A series of deletions followed in the second half. First in the 51st minute “Nebitchi” remained in the minority – due to too many yellow cards on the field Elias Akyev left. In the 89th minute, the hosts were awarded an 11-meter penalty kick.
Ahal defender Shokhrat Soyunov did not convert the penalty, however, finishing the ball was accurate. As a result, the Chief's team management of "Turkmennebitonumleri" escaped defeat - 2:2, depriving the oilmen's ability to reduce the gap to 6 points from the one going to second place "Altyn Asyr".
After this game, Nebitchi had 30 points. 9 points less Kopetdag, which ranks fourth. "Ahal" with 20 points with one game in reserve shares fifth place in the standings with Ashgabat.
The 20th round of the Turkmenistan Championship will end in the capital and Mary derbies in which Altyn Asyr - Ashgabat and Energetik will meet - "Merv."
