An AEO is any legal entity involved in the international movement of goods and recognized by a national customs authority as complying with the requirements of the Secure and Facilitated Global Trade Framework Standard or similar supply chain.
AEO is designed to cover all entities involved in the international supply chain - from the manufacturer to the final recipient. Thus, it is planned to ensure a high level of security. Small and medium-sized enterprises are an integral part of this chain.
The form and procedure for issuing a certificate of inclusion in the register of authorized economic operators, suspension and revocation of this certificate are determined by the legislation of the member states of the customs union.
