According to the Resolution of the head of the State, National tree planting day will be held on March 18, 2017. It is planned to plant three millions of young plants including fruit trees in Ashgabat and its surrounding areas. The places for future gardens are allocated.

The ministries and departments, hyakimliks of the velayats and Ashgabat will provide organizational level of national tree planting day.
