TNIWL named 50 winners and 244 prize-winners of the International Olympiad in Russian Language

The Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after Dovletmammet Azadi has announced the winners and prize-winners of the International Internet Olympiad in Russian language, held by the institute with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.

The participants of the Olympiad - students of higher educational institutions of Turkmenistan and foreign countries - in total, won almost three hundred prize places. In particular, 50 winners and 244 prize-winners were announced according to the final results of the competition. 

Among the winners, there are 34 students from Turkmen universities - the Turkmen State Pedagogical Institute named after S. Seydi, the Turkmen National Institute of World Languages named after D. Azadi, the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country, the Magtymguly Turkmen State University, the Turkmen State Medical University named after M. Garryev, the Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction, the International University of Humanities and Development, the Institute of National Security of Turkmenistan, the Oguz Han Turkmen State Engineering and Technology University and the State Energy Institute of the country.

 Another 16 first places were won by students of the Osh State Pedagogical University named after A. Z. Myrsabekov (Kyrgyzstan), Arkalyk State Pedagogical Institute named after I. Altynsarin (Kazakhstan), Uzbekistan State University of World Languages (Uzbekistan), Samara State Social and Pedagogical University, Arzamas branch of the N. I. Lobachevsky State University of Nizhny Novgorod and the Naberzhnye Chelny State Pedagogical University (Russia).

The winners of the Olympiad, including students of Turkmenistan and foreign countries, received 64 second and 180 third places.

The winners and prize-winners of the Olympiad will be awarded diplomas of appropriate degrees from the D.Azadi TNIWL. The outstanding participants will be awarded certificates from the Higher Language School of our country.

In general, about 1600 students from all universities of Turkmenistan and more than 150 universities of 22 foreign countries took part in the contest. Among them - Russia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, China, USA, Poland, Hungary, Austria, France, Brazil, Germany, India, Turkey, Egypt, Korea, Romania and others.

The Olympiad was another significant event that multiplied the successes and achievements of young people in the passing year 2023, marked in Turkmenistan by the motto "Happy Youth with Arkadag Serdar".

The International Student Olympiad was held from December 6 to 7 and also became one of the brightest events on the eve of the International Day of Neutrality, proclaimed by the UN General Assembly and widely celebrated on December 12 according to the annual tradition.

The organizing committee of the Olympiad emphasized that the competition not only identified talented and gifted students but also showcased the high level of knowledge and preparation of the participants in the Russian language- one of the official languages of the UN and languages of interethnic communication.

The Olympiad provided an opportunity for young people to demonstrate their intellectual and creative abilities in the field of the Russian language, as well as stimulated students' interest in improving their speech, writing and communication skills. In addition, the competition contributed to the expansion of international cooperation in science and education and strengthened friendly relations between representatives of universities from different countries of the world.
