During the visit to Lebap Velayat on occasion of opening of the bridges across Amudarya River, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov received Alexander Tislenko, the Head of Ukrainian Company ALTCOM, which were building important facilities of transport infrastructure – automobile and railroad bridges Turkmenabat – Farab.
The Head of the State, Having expressed the gratitude for the work, highlighted that Turkmenistan always stands for beneficial cooperation with leading foreign companies, which have relative experience, innovative developments and production potential. At the same time, the preference is given to the companies strictly adhering to the requirements of quality and schedule of construction works.
Noting special importance of the projects, President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov said that formation of modern developed infrastructure of transport sphere, which main component is the provision of reliable automobile and railroad connection between the banks of the river, is a key factor of successful development of national economy of the country and increase of volumes of international cargo trafficking, establishment of closer trade and economic relations with the countries of the region, especially with close neighbours.
Having expressed the gratitude for the trust and support in the work, the businessman made special mention of comprehensive interest of the largest Ukrainian construction company in further consolidation of the positions in perspective Turkmen market and most active participation in planned large-scale projects and programmes, which are important for consolidation and increase of potential of rapidly developing economy of Turkmenistan.
Priority directions of further partnership, taking into account huge experience of joint work, were discussed during the meeting. Ukrainian businessman expressed the intent of his company to continue long-term partnership built on mutually beneficial basis.
