The football team "Arkadag" became the first to reach the final of the Turkmenistan Cup, defeating the capital's "Altyn Asyr" in the semifinals. 

"Arkadag" won 4:1 in the first game. 

The team of the "Turkmenaragatnashyk" agency needed to win by at least three goals in the second match, which took place at the "Sport Toplumy" stadium in Buzmein etrap of Ashgabat.

However, this did not happen. Moreover, in the 3rd minute, Nazar Tovakelov put "Arkadag" ahead 1:0. After 20 minutes, Begmyrat Bayov doubled the score. And, Begench Akmamedov scored the third goal in the 38th minute, and the teams went into halftime with a score of 3:0 in favor of "Arkadag".

But Vladimir Bayramov's wards did not stop there. In the 70th minute, Roman Galkin scored another goal against "Altyn Asyr", setting the final score – 4:0. 

The football club "Arkadag", the main backbone of the national team of Turkmenistan, was formed in 2023 and it won the title ahead of schedule in its debut year in the country's championship. And now the team, representing the city of the same name of national significance, is close to winning its second trophy this year.

The opponent of "Arkadag" in the final of the Turkmenistan Cup, the second most important national tournament, will be the winner of the pair "Ahal" - "Merv". The first game between these teams was held in Mary and ended in a draw, 1:1. The second match is scheduled for December 21 on the field "Ahal".
