Guided by the tasks stipulated by the Program for the Development of the Oil and Gas Industry of Turkmenistan for the period until 2030, the State Concern «Türkmennebit» carries out large-scale activities for the exploration and development of the country’s oil and gas fields.

Based on the results of eleven months of this year, the concern’s oil workers were able to obtain 3,243,487 tons of «black gold» from operating wells and fulfilled the plan by 111 percent. The labor collectives of the oil and gas production departments «Gumdagnebit», «Keymir» and «Galkynyshnebit» especially distinguished themselves.

The concern's drillers also made a worthy contribution to achieving such an impressive result. During January-November 2023, they drilled a total of 152,836 meters of mining rocks, which is 12,063 meters more than in the same period last year. It is noteworthy that 30 out of 34 wells drilled during this period were production wells. Much credit for this goes to the drillers of the Nebitdag, Goturdepe, Korpeje and Ekerem drilling departments.
