28 transactions were registered at the State Commodity and Raw Materials Exchange of Turkmenistan last week.
Representatives of business circles from the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan, Georgia and Afghanistan purchased polypropylene, base oil and diesel fuel produced at the technological facilities of "Türkmennebit" State Concern for foreign currency.
Moreover, silk raw materials, rough and denim fabric, cotton yarn, purified cotton waste, licorice roots and rhizomes were sold for foreign currency. The buyer countries include the UAE, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan and Pakistan. The total value of the transactions exceeded 18,114,000 USD.
Domestic businessmen purchased polypropylene ("Türkmennebit" State Concern), granular potassium chloride ("Türkmenhimiýa" State Concern), handmade carpets, bed linen sets, cotton yarn, raw fatty acids and cotton delint waste for the domestic market with the amount of over 290,591,000 manats.
