Students of Turkmenistan are invited to study at universities in China and Hungary

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan announced the start of recruitment of candidates for undergraduate programs at universities in the People's Republic of China and Hungary. The selection is carried out among citizens of the country who have general secondary, secondary vocational or higher education.

Applications are accepted by a special Commission for the acceptance of documents from the 3rd to 10th of January, 2024 at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly.

Earlier, during meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of the country, Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers N. Amannepesov presented a report to the head of state on the issue of sending Turkmen youth to study to higher education institutions of the People's Republic of China and Hungary in the 2024-2025 academic year.

The Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan focuses on expanding international cooperation in the scientific and educational field and training young specialists in such areas as IT technologies, healthcare and medical sciences, education and pedagogical sciences, agriculture and agricultural sciences, engineering, technology and technical sciences, mathematics and science.

Detailed information about the list of specialties, the number of budget places, conditions of study and living in China will be provided when submitting an application.

Currently, there is a memorandum of cooperation between the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly and the Beijing Foreign Studies University. As part of it, Cui Jiaxin, a graduate of the Beijing Foreign Studies University, is planning targeted postgraduate studies at the Turkmen State University named after Magtymguly to teach the Turkmen language at her home university.

In addition, by teaching Chinese language and literature to Turkmen students of the Faculty of Romance-Germanic and Oriental Languages, Cui Jiaxin intends to write a scientific work «Artistic reflection of the Chinese world in Turkmen literature».
