A heavy tomato harvest has been reaped in the complex of modern greenhouses of the Altyn bürgüt private enterprise, located on the territory of Talkhanbazar village of Charjev etrap of Lebap velayat of the country.

 In the greenhouse complex, opened for operation on March 25, 2021, which is located on a total area of 8.5 hectares and consists of six parts, more than 192 thousand tomato plants are grown. The greenhouse is equipped with modern innovative technologies, and feeding tomato seedlings, ventilation and a stable temperature maintenance are carried out automatically using computers.

At the plant, specialists regularly monitor the formation of roots, growth and productivity of tomato seedlings using special testing equipment. One of the main features of this greenhouse is that the tomato seedlings are grown in containers containing coconut shell shavings. Tomato varieties as Morvelans, Maxesa, Furiosa, Perimos and Martinique are grown here.

Organized activities in the Altyn bürgüt greenhouse complex and full compliance with agro-technical standards allow to grow a large harvest of tomatoes.

Tomato crop at the enterprise is carried out in stages; during the year, more than two thousand tons of high-quality, environmentally friendly tomatoes are harvested and offered to customers. Specialized warehouses are used to store the harvested crops on the territory of the farm.

More than 80 percent of the harvest produced is exported to foreign countries such as the Russian Federation and Kazakhstan, and the rest is sold on the domestic market.
