At the Institute of International Relations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Turkmenistan has announced competitions on the topic of ecology among university students. Competitions are held with the aim of expanding understanding of the role and significance of 28-th Conference of the Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Change climate (COP-28) among young people. In addition, among the main goals - attracting the attention of young people to issues of global cooperation in areas of ecology, environmental protection, stimulation of activity and participation of youth in solving universal problems associated with change climate, its influence on socio-economic development, environmental sustainability and biodiversity.

“YOUNG SUPPORT TO ONE WORLD” - under this title on February 20 at The Higher School of Diplomacy will host a drawing competition organized by Training center in priority areas of diplomacy Turkmenistan and the Council of Young Scientists of the University. Teams of 4 students from each faculty will take part in the competition. Participants of the competition will have to prepare within 30 minutes thematic drawings and come up with slogans for your works in Turkmen or English. Next, one of the participants from each team it will be necessary to present a 5-minute presentation to the jury, dedicated to the content of the picture and its meaning.

Results of the 28th meeting of the parties to the UN Framework Convention on Change climate change will be dedicated to an essay competition called “500 words about ecology." The competition is held among students of all specialties and faculties of the Training Center in priority areas of diplomacy Turkmenistan and the scientific circle “Young Lawyers” of the institute.

Participants are asked to write a thematic essay of no more than 500 words and submit the finished work to the admissions committee by February 28. Works are accepted in Turkmen, Russian and English.

The results of the competition will be announced on March 11. Competition winner's work will be published on the IMO website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan.

The competition jury will include one teacher from each university faculty. Winners and runners-up of the competitions will be determined by vote of the jury members. The winners of the Grand Prix, I, II and III places will certificates of honor and memorable gifts were presented.
