The Turkmen State Institute of Architecture and Construction will conduct a series of subject Olympiads among high school students of Turkmenistan. The competitions for schoolchildren are organized by the institute with the support of the Ministry of Education of Turkmenistan.
High school students are invited to participate in four subject Olympiads: physics, chemistry, mathematics and modern computer technologies. The Olympiads will be held in two rounds in a remote format.
The first round of the physics competition is scheduled for April 17, followed by chemistry on April 18. The Olympiads for mathematics and modern computer technologies will take place on April 19.
Schoolchildren who show high results and score the highest number of points in the first round will participate in the final, second stage of the competition, which will be held on May 1.
The winners and prize winners of the subject Olympiads will be awarded diplomas of corresponding degrees.
As the organizers note, conducting intellectual competitions will be a good opportunity for schoolchildren to demonstrate their abilities and talents, showcase their knowledge and training in subjects.
Among the main goals of organizing the competitions are stimulating and encouraging the interest of young people in studying exact sciences, monitoring the quality of schoolchildren's preparation and level of knowledge, developing and improving skills in independent work on subjects using modern digital technologies, identifying the most talented and capable students, as well as strengthening the interaction between higher education institutions and secondary schools in the country through information and communication technologies.
