On occasion of national holiday “Drop of Water – Grain of Gold” traditionally observed on the first Sunday of April, honouring of best employees of water management sphere took place in Ashgabat. The event was organized by national Centre of the Trade Unions together with the Ministry of Agriculture and Water Management.
There are ten specialists from all regions of the country, the representatives of different professions providing non-stop work of water supply industry among the winners. They received valuable gifts on behalf of the Head of the State and Letters of Honour from the Trade Unions.

First class bulldozer operator of Ahalsuwgurlushyk Production Entity Oremuhammet Syddykokhov is responsible for the improvement of soil reclamation condition on one of the section of Ahal water network. He has 27 years of experience.
Scientists and personnel of agro industrial complex, lecturers of Turkmen Agricultural University took part in the meeting. Representative of Turkmen State Water Management Scientific, Production and Project Institute Turkmenylymsuwtaslama Gurban Hommadov noted that large attention is paid in our country to development of hydro technical science, implementation of advanced technologies of irrigation and support of maintenance of system, rational use of water. It is necessary for development of new and re-cultivation of degraded lands and establishment of new agrarian productions.
