An online meeting took place between employees of the Training Centre at the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and teachers of the Russian Customs Academy.

The Russian delegation was headed by the director of the Institute of Distance Learning, Retraining and Advanced Training of Personnel of the Russian Customs Academy, Olga Sayenko.

The meeting was organized as part of the implementation of the Memorandum of Cooperation in the field of personnel training, signed between the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan and the Federal Customs Service of Russia on the 20th of January, 2023.

The parties discussed the possibilities of bilateral cooperation in the field of training personnel for customs services, in particular, the exchange of educational technologies and teaching methods.

In this regard, the meeting participants considered the issue of organizing further specialized seminars and conferences for employees of the State Customs Service of Turkmenistan.

Being a specialized higher education institution with a customs profile, the Russian Customs Academy provides training for the customs authorities of the Russian Federation, as well as for the customs services of the CIS member states in full-time and part-time forms of study under higher professional education programs.
