To preserve the purity of Turkmen sport and coordinate the fight against doping in sports, Turkmenistan begins establishing systematic cooperation with the World Anti-Doping Agency; this was announced today by President Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at the International Sports Conference in Avaza.

The National Anti-Doping Agency was set up in Turkmenistan in 2017. With the purpose of educating Turkmen specialists on advanced anti-doping technologies, Ashgabat hosted the session of the Executive Committee of Central Asia Regional Anti-Doping Organization, and the training seminar to qualify national doping control officers. After the training, our specialists received certificates as doping control officers.
