The public joint-stock company "Balkan Shipyard and Ship Repair Plant" organizes short-term 2-month professional training sessions for young shipbuilders.

The training is conducted at the Maritime Secondary Vocational School of Turkmenbashi city on abrasive products for ship cleaning and painting. The courses are aimed at developing the shipbuilding industry in Turkmenistan.

Young shipbuilders are thoroughly studying methods of abrasive blasting, priming and painting hulls and large steel sheets, which will increase the interest of young shipbuilders in production and contribute to the development of the shipbuilding industry.

Balkan Shipyard and Ship Repair Plant is working hard to achieve the set goals for the effective establishment of shipbuilding activities of the plant and further development of the national merchant fleet.
