The footballers of "Arkadag" achieved a determined victory with a score of 2:1 against the Russian club "Pari NN" from Nizhny Novgorod. The game took place in Abu Dhabi (UAE), where Vladimir Bayramov's team continues their preparation for the Turkmenistan Championship starting on March 4.

In the 21st minute, Nikoloz Kutateladze, forward of "Pari NN", scored the first goal, hitting the opponent's bottom corner. However, just two minutes later, Begmyrat Bayov equalized. The victory for the Turkmen team was secured by the top scorer of "Arkadag", Didar Durdyev, who converted a penalty in the 68th minute.

Occupying the 9th place in the Russian Premier League with 24 points after 18 rounds, "Pari NN," coached by Sergey Yuran, former Russian national team footballer, proved to be a good sparring partner for "Arkadag" during the preseason.

Previously, this Turkmen club played three friendly matches during their first training camp in Antalya, Turkey. They won against the renowned Macedonian club "Vardar" 1-0 in the first match but suffered defeats against the Ukrainian teams "Shakhtar" 1-4 and "Dnipro-1" 0-1 in the following two matches.

During their second training camp in Abu Dhabi, "Arkadag" plans to play two more games against the current Russian champion "Zenit" from St. Petersburg and the two-time champion and winner of he Super Cup of Kyrgyzstan "Abdysh-Ata" from Kant.

It is worth noting that the football club "Arkadag," which forms the core of the Turkmenistan national team, was established in April 2023 and, in its debut year in the country's championship, secured the title prematurely and won the National Cup. In the Turkmenistan-2023 championship, the team representing the city of the same name won all 24 official matches and triumphed with a 3-0 score in the final match for the second most important national trophy against "Ahal", previous Cup holder, two-time AFC Champions League participant.

In the new season, "Arkadag" is preparing to defend their championship title.
